"The human factor in the configuration of the current and future library"

The Academic libraries, on 15 continuous years, organize annually scientific conference, focused on the libraries interests, especially of the academic libraries ones. This conference began as an effort of academic libraries to discuss common problems and potential solutions, collaborations and reciprocal help, interoperability and common visions. As a proof of their success is the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-LINK) and the effective management of the resources of European Union.

The next (16th) Conference of Hellenic Academic Libraries is organized by the Library of the University of Piraeus and will take place between 1- 3/10/2007, in the central building of the University.

Needless to say that, such an event not only progress the Libraries and Information science but also enforce the collaboration between the staff in them. It is also important for another reason: the progress of the Library and Information Science contributes in the improvement of libraries, which are one of the main factors of the growth of each country.

The organizing committee invites you to participate with a paper or with your presentation in the works of the conference.
